Hey friends!

This past weekend was a great start to our new series. I think my friend Mark gave some great first-hand perspective to the way those outside the church perceive us, and beyond that, he had a really great time! He was truly overwhelmed with how you all received him – way to go church!

This is a great series to bring friends to . . . pray that God will use it in bringing near our friends who are far from him, and in helping us live more authentically as his people. Here are our upcoming topics, based on some of the most frequently heard perceptions of the church:

Sept 21 - Christians believe in a God who sends people to hell
Sept 28 - Christians are hypocritical
Oct 5 - Christians are out of touch/responsible for so much injustice
Oct 12 - The church hates homosexuals
Oct 19 - The church is too political
Oct 26 - Christians are not accepting of the faith of others
Nov 2 - Christians are judgmental and negative
