Tim Morey – Lead Pastor

Tim was born in San Diego, where he accepted Christ at an early age, left the church as a teen, and was re-captured by the love of Jesus during college. Prior to planting Life, he served in college ministries in San Diego and Los Angeles. Tim is the proud father of Abigail and Hannah, whose beauty and charm prove that his wife Samantha has strong genes. Tim received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Diego State University, a Master of Divinity from Bethel Seminary San Diego, and a Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Seminary.


Scott Buetzow – Associate Pastor

Scott grew up in Novato, California (near San Francisco) where water polo, swimming, surfing, water skiing, and wake boarding, took up most of his childhood days. After high school, he began following Jesus in college where he also met his cute wife, Karen. Before serving on staff with Life, he served in college ministries in both San Diego and Los Angeles. Scott received a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from San Diego State University, and a Master of Divinity from Talbot School of Theology. He enjoys surfing, camping, reading, rainbow sandals, root beer floats, and anything fun.
